The Gurdwara was founding in 1970 under the direction of Siri Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji, Religious celebrations include daily morning Kirtan Diwan. All Gurpurbs are celebrated as a tradition of Rensubhais, Akhand Paths, Jaloos. Community services include regular weekly Dharmik education classes for children . There is a Khalsa school, and educational centre. In addition a daily Langar programme, and a spiritual retreat centre serve Guru Nanak’s holy name in the development of discipline of Sikh lifestyle. There are about 2000 members of the Sikh community in the area.
