Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi Chhevin Village Himmatpura
Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Nauvin is dedicated to Guru Hargobind Ji. Guru Ji who had come to the village Himmatpura from village Boli located at a distance of two kilometres.On hearing Guru Ji’s arrival, large number of people gathered to get his blessings.In that congregation, villagers from nearby place named, Jusampura, came to Guru Ji and requested him to bless their village by paying a visit there. Guru Ji expressed his inability, however he told them that he would come to their village as and when possible. There after they went back but interestingly enough one of the villagers stole the saddle of Guru Ji’s horse. Next day Guru Ji was told about the theft. Guru Ji knew everything and on the following day Guru Ji went towards their village Jusampura. The villagers extended whole hearted hospitality to Guru Ji and requested forgiveness for the saddle mischief by saying that he was a mad man. When Guru Ji saw that the saddle thief brought the saddle back without one of its Peda(gold ring), he expressed his unhappiness over his behavior. However while leaving the place Guru Ji blessed the villagers for their prosperity. Guru Ji also changed the name of the village from Jusampura to Himmatpura. Prakash Divas of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Guru Arjan Dev Ji are the major events in which people from all over join the occassion. Accommodation: There are six rooms with limited facilities in the Gurdwara premises for pilgrim to stay.
