Gurdwara Vibhore Guru, he situated on the right bank of the river Sutlej, just opposite the Sutlej Sadan of Bhakra Management Board. Here Guru Gobind Singh stayed for about a year and composed hymns in praise of Almighty God.
The pilgrims have to cross Sutlej river across the Nangal Dam to reach Naya Nangal Township, adjoining which Gurdwara Vibhore Sahib is situated. Besides, there is Nangal Fertilizer Factory here, set up by the Government of India.
For pilgrims and tourists, anxious to visit Sikh shrines in the Nangal area there are excellent facilities of road travel. It is also connected by rail with Delhi, Amritsar and other parts of India. Nearest Airport is at Chandigarh. From Chandigarh buses and taxies are available for travel to Nangal and Bhakra Dam. It is only three hour drive from Chandigarh to Nangal.
