Gurudwara Jhira Sahib Village Kanjhla
The villagers Kanjhla claim that Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Hargobind Ji, and Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji had visited their village successively. A common Gurdwara dedicated to the three Gurus is about a furlong west of the village where there used to be a thick growth of shrubs and bushes (Jhira in Punjabi language) after which it came to be popularly known as Jhira Sahib. Guru Nanak Dev Ji came to this place during his first Udasi. Guru Ji came here while returning from Sunam and sat at the Hajare Khuh. At this place Guru Ji had discourse with religious head alongwith others and enlightened them. Chhevin Patshahi Guru Hargobind Ji also came to this place while going to Delhi on the invitation from emperor Jahangir . GuruJi came here from village Bhai ki Droli and stayed for three days and thereafter he moved to Akoi. Nauvin Patshahi Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji came to this place during his journey to Malwa region. It is said that one old women came to Guru Ji and offered him milk which Guru Ji had. The old women requested Guru Ji to relieve the villagers as most of them were suffering from leprosy . Guru Ji blessed the villagers and slowly the disease disappeared.Prakash Divas of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Hargobind Ji and Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji are the major annual events. In addition Barsi of Baba Bishan Ji and Sant Attar Singh Ji are also organized in a big way. Accommodation: There is a Sarai in the Gurdwara premises with 12 rooms for pilgrims to stay but facilities available are limited.

Gurdwara Jhira Sahib is situated in the village Kanjhla of District Sangrur. It is 18 km from Sangrur and 6 km from Ladda chowk on Sangrur -Ludhiana road. From Dhuri, the village Kanjhla is 12 km.
