‘Bindee’
The ‘Bindee is a sign of nasal sound in Gurmukhee script. It is written above the consonant. The underlined N (N) has been used for its transliteration. The ‘Tippee’ is also used as a sign of nasal sound in Gurmukhee script.
The Tippee is used only with ‘Mukta’, ‘Sihaaree’, ‘Aunkarh’, ‘Dulainkarh’.
The ‘Bindee’ is used only with ‘Kanna’, ‘Bihaaree’, ‘Laavaan‘, ‘Dulaavaan‘, ‘Horhaa’ and ‘Kanaurhaa’.
